Bike Basket Pies Popping Up at Pot + Pantry Before It Closes
Owner Donna Suh of the Mission's Pot + Pantry cookware store is closing her brick-and-mortar on March 24 and moving online, but before she goes she's having a big 30% off sale, selling the shop's fixtures, and throwing a pie party. On Thursday, March 21 (4-6 p.m., or until the pies run out), Bike Basket Pies proprietress Natalie Galatzer will be selling her hand-held pastries in the shop.

There will be both savory and sweet pies in flavors like apple-strawberry, Shaker lemon, and potato, leek and cheddar. Plus, recipe booklets for sale and maaaaybe champagne will be flowing. This is a great chance to check out Galatzer's pies, which she no longer sells on the regular, and pick up some discounted (and very cool) kitchenware.
Meanwhile, we wish Suh the best of luck in getting her new venture up and running -- you can check out the online shop's progress on the store's blog.
