By now you've probably seen the brilliant, stop-motion short film "Fresh Guacamole" by director PES. It was up for an Academy Award last night in the best animated short film category, and though it didn't win, we still haven't gotten tired of watching everyday objects transformed into deceptively delicious-looked guacamole.

Do check it out if you haven't seen it already -- it's short, sweet, and totally charming -- or give it another view if you've already seen it once (or a half dozen times, like us).

While you're watching videos instead of working, you might as well take a gander at PES's earlier film, "Western Spaghetti," which operates on the same concept (we particularly like the Post-Its as stand-ins for sliced butter).
