Off the Grid Expanding to Pier 29 for Two Months
Good news for SF Weekly staffers, others who work and live at this lonely corner of the Embarcadero, and people who are really, really into the America's Cup: Food truck gathering Off the Grid announced plans today to have a twice-weekly market at Piers 27/29. Starting on Thursday, January 10, a smattering of food trucks will be on hand every Thursday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for two months as the preparations for America's Cup continue.

Four trucks will be on hand every week, and for the inaugural outing, those trucks will be Tres Truck, Mayo & Mustard, Sanguchon, and Kasa Indian. While you eat, you can watch the preparations for the September races in America's Cup park, shop at the on-site America's Cup and PUMA stores, or contemplate life while gazing out at the bay. See you there!
