Naked Lunch gets bigger in North Beach.
It's always exciting to report good news after bad, and today brings word that Ryan Maxey and Ian Begg are keeping the space where they shuttered Txoko restaurant on New Year's Eve and using it to expand Naked Lunch, the afternoon concept they've been running next door since 2009.

The newly named Naked Lunch Pub & Grill will, like its predecessor, change its menu daily and feature counter service, but will include new items such as a burger with fries and now accepts credit cards. New hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to "late," with the kitchen closed between 2-5 p.m.

The grand opening takes place on January 11 beginning at 4 p.m. with tunes provided by DJ Jon Blunck of popular club night Sweaterfunk. Welcome back, guys; we're glad the hiatus didn't last more than a week.
