Txoko in North Beach closes at the end of 2012.
North Beach restaurant Txoko announced via Facebook that it will cease service after New Year's Eve (December 31). The restaurant opened in May 2011 in the cavernous space that formerly held Enrico's and spent much of its time as a vocal supporter of fighting the foie gras ban, giving away complimentary portions after it was outlawed in July 2012.

This doesn't appear to effect the operations next door at their sister project Naked Lunch. We wish owners Ian Begg and Ryan Maxey the best.
