Fourth Annual La Cocina Gift Bazaar

The rundown: Some people go to the mall to knock out a bunch of gifts at once; we prefer gatherings of small, food-focused vendors like this holiday gift bazaar hosted by culinary incubator La Cocina. The event will feature nearly 30 La Cocina program participants and hand-picked Bay Area vendors, including take-homeables like cookies and caramels from Kika's Treats, t-shirts and prints from Drywall, pickles from Jarred SF Brine, confections from Neo Cocoa, hummus from Love and Hummus, granola from Nana Joe's, rillettes from Wooden Spoons, and plenty more tastiness.

In addition there will be Japanese wraps from Onigilly, chocolate babka from Wise Sons, empanadas from Sabores de Sur, and plenty more snacks -- plus a raffle and live music.
If you can't make it to the market but don't want to miss out on all the good stuff, you can still support the organization by buying their gift boxes, available on the La Cocina website. They range from $35 to $100 and contain an assortment of sweet and salty treats from program vendors. Way better than a box from Harry and David, in our opinion.
