The rundown: Ugly sweater parties are a certified national phenomenon, a trend that has begun to outpace even the adult prom in prominence. The Ritz-Carlton's lively young restaurant Parallel 37 is getting into the act next week and rewarding patrons for dragging out the worst one they can find.
