Let a Chef Shop For Your Dinner Next Week
If you don't feel like doing all the work involved in planning and shopping for dinner but are tired of eating out, Jake Des Voignes of Local Mission Eatery & Local's Corner might have the answer. He's teamed up with CUESA and Good Eggs to make a "Chef Box" full of ingredients purchased at the Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market that you can assemble at home into a three-course meal.

Our intern tried a similar concept over the summer, and pronounced it a success -- she loved how all the shopping and troubleshooting was taken care of for her, and even impressed herself with the meal she ended up making.
Order your box by 8 p.m. today from the Good Eggs website, and then either have it delivered to your door or pick it up at the Ferry Plaza Tuesday market. Prices range from $29 for 2-3 servings to $145 for 14-15 servings. Unfortunately, Voignes will not come by afterward to do the dishes.
