Fabric8's Nog-In Showcases a Holiday Drink

The rundown: The yearly Nog-In competition demonstrates that the best egg nog doesn't always have egg in it, nor does it have to have alcohol. All varieties with or without dairy or booze are welcomed in this friendly and casual competition, which is decided by public vote.

Adrienne Franko and Sarah Carswell Franko will attempt to defend their 2011 title and take home another handmade egg-shaped trophy. Last year's champion was called "Mama Said Nog You Out."
Fabric8 is also currently showing "A Plethora of Enchanted Delights," a final group art show before the gallery changes its name and feel sometime in 2013. The new public parklet out front (the gallery's second) was also just unveiled last weekend and is now available for intense beanbag lounging. So this is a chance not only to feel festive but to say goodbye to the current incarnation of the space and welcome the changes that are about to come.
