Wise Sons Deli and Old World Food Truck Offer Hip Hanukkah Options
The turkey is barely digested and it's already time to start thinking about Hanukkah dinner. Wise Sons Deli has started accepting pre-orders for take-home High Holiday fixins that can be picked up between December 7-18. Items such as latkes, babka, and rugelach are available for that whole time period, while more substantial fare like braised brisket, green salad, and roasted winter root vegetables are available from December 7-10 and December 15-18. Use this catering form to make an order.

If you'd rather go out for Hanukkah, the Old World Food Truck is hosting pop-up dinners at Coffee Bar at 6 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on December 8 and 6 p.m. on December 9. The menu provides a twist on traditional favorites, such as a fancy-sounding duo of latkes, one made with parsnip and celery root and the other with sweet potato and leek, pickled veal tongue, salmon and kugel, and sufganiyot, described as "Hanukkah donuts." Tickets are $55 and available in advance via Eventbrite. Wine pairings will be available once at the dinner.
