The Bay Brewed: A Rock & Roll Beer Festival

Remember when your friends threw house parties? We're not talking about adult gatherings with veggie platters and soft rock, but more like Kid 'n Play-era shenanigans. The garage band played fast and loud, food consisted of stray bags of chips, and the keg dispensed whatever was cheapest. Thankfully, The Bay Bridged, a local non-profit dedicated to exposing local indie artists, is carrying the house party torch -- with some significant upgrades.

On December 1st, the Public Works space will help you rekindle those adolescent party fantasies with The Bay Brewed: A Rock & Roll Beer Festival. While you're welcome to dig through the garage for your old ripped jeans and Judas Priest t-shirt, the bands at this gig will be a touch more put-together than your buddy's third-wave ska/punk/emo high school cover band. Instead, nationally respected indie outfits such as Bear in Heaven and Sonny & The Sunsets will serenade you while you taste unlimited craft beer samples from a commemorative glass.

You're unlikely to see any keg stands at this party, but you'll have access to beers from a dozen breweries from the SF Brewer's Guild. Instead of wandering the house in search of Cheez Whiz and crackers, food will be available for purchase from Seoul On Wheels and Adam's Grub Truck. Gather up your teen spirit and rock out with your craft beer out, here:
