Pot + Pantry Turns Two With Booze and BBQ
Pot + Pantry is a quirky little gem of a shop in the Mission that features a stylish selection of vintage kitchen appliances, culinary antiques, and an unexpectedly diverse and interesting selection of independent food zines. Owner Suh Wageman opened the self-proclaimed "kitchen supplies boutique" in 2010 after a career at Williams-Sonoma, and pretty much everything in this small but focused shop makes for eye candy. Like Omnivore Books in Noe Valley, Pot + Pantry serves a strong niche of locals who treat the kitchen as a place of art.

The shop celebrates its second birthday with an exhibit called "Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ" by Drywell Art from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 9. Free beer and Sneaky's BBQ will help the art theme come to life.
