The revered maker of stoneware mid-century bowls, plates, and mugs has held the sample sale for years, gathering up experimental designs and prototypes and selling them to the public. Heath enthusiasts who miss the sample sale have until Sunday to take advantage of Heath annual sale and still stock up on all things attractive and ceramic at the new San Francisco store in the Mission (2900 18th, between Alabama and Florida), complete with a Blue Bottle coffee inside. The ceramics maker plans to open a tile factory there in early 2013, the second factory outside the original Sausalito location.
