Google's First Exec. Chef Raising Money for the Red Cross
If you happen to find yourself down in Palo Alto over the next few days, you can contribute to the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts by eating pastries. It's true! Google's first executive chef, Charlie Ayer, is holding a bake sale at his restaurant Calafia now through this Friday from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Just to repeat: By purchasing pies, breads, muffins, cookies, and biscuits, you can contribute to the Red Cross New Jersey Shore relief efforts (chosen because Chef Ayer spent time in the area growing up). Sounds like a sweet deal to us.
