Movember Mustache Bash

The Rundown: Wrap up the month long Movember prostate cancer awareness and fundraising month tonight at Elixir with guest bartenders Tony Devencenzi (Bourbon and Branch) and Reza Esmaili (Ananas SF) behind the bar with proprietor H. Joseph Ehrmann. Plently of rum and scotch drink specials and all tips go directly to Movember!
The Rundown: Join the crew of the little distillery that helped change the landscape of local spirits for a special night celebrating their 30 years in business with a special panel discussion with founder Jörg Rufp, master distiller Lance Winters, and distiller Dave Smith. Cocktails and tour of the distillery also included.
Duggan McDonnell from Encanto Pisco at Copita

When: Fri., Nov. 30th, starting at 5 p.m.
The Rundown: Escape the rain with a virtual trip trip to Peru and Mexico at chef Joanne Weir's jewel box restaurant with the help of barman and spirits producer Duggan McDonnell. Try a flight of three Ecanto Pisco varieties ($8) or grab something from the special menu of five pisco cocktails ($9), including the Privateer (so named for Sir Francis Drake and his exploits in the Bay of Pisco) that combines Encanto Pisco with lemon, Madeira, orange Curacao, and bitters.
The Rundown: Join Sutton Cellars for a special holiday wine event featuring a new batch of their hard cider and the brand new Vin de Noix (French-style green walnut digestif wine). In addition, the American Industrial Center building (where Sutton Cellars is located) will be hosting a holiday sample sale with tenants selling their wares.
The Rundown: One of the best bartenders in the Bay Area, Carlos Yturria is teaching his tricks of the trade at this cocktail demonstration that includes three different cocktails paired with three bites from the restaurant. An amazing value and a great excuse to check out the recently refurbished restaurant.
The Rundown: The unsung heroes of the bar world, the barbacks, get their due and spotlight at this Fernet Branca fueld competition. Cheer on your favorite men and women who make sure your cocktails are served in cold, clean glasses and who's sweat lubricates the flow of cocktails at a busy bar. Crazy obstacle courses, $4 shots of Fernet for you, and fun for everyone.
