Soy Vey Casting Call.jpg
Feel like you know the city's food scene in and out and always had a secret desire to host your own Internet culinary travel show? You're in luck: Soy Vay, maker of Asian-inspired sauces and marinades, is looking for a food-crazy local to host a new "Flavor Underground" web series.

Details are a little vague, but it basically sounds like you'd be going around the Bay Area digging up little-known food finds, chefs, and neighborhood restaurants -- not a bad gig, all said and done, even if there's no compensation involved. The winner will appear in up to five webisodes featured on the new Soy Vay website in early February.

To throw your name in the ring, make a short video review of your favorite restaurant and upload it to the Flavor Underground website before November 30. The top five applicants will be called back for a screen test, and then the winner will be announced as the S.F. host of "Flavor Underground" to what we're sure will lead to fame, fortune, the key to the city, etc.

Here's the casting call video:

May the odds be ever in your favor.
