The rundown: This used to be called the Slideluck Potshow, but that perhaps gave off an unintended message for this photo exhibit slash potluck dinner that takes place around the world thanks to a New York-based non-profit dedicated to improving community relations through intimate, food-fueled gatherings.

Bring a dish to share at this meal, which features an open bar with wine and beer. And make it good, because you'll have a shot at winning a new 2013 Globe Specialized bicycle if one of the "secret foodie judges" deems it the best in show.
