Food zines at Pot + Pantry.
Pot + Pantry opened two years ago on 22nd Street in the Mission, and has since relocated nearby on 18th Street. While vintage kitchenware is the focus of this charming shop, it's also got an unexpectedly interesting selection of food zines.

Other than Meatpaper, the locally-produced quarterly devoted to all things fleshy, the current offerings all hail from other parts. Interesting titles in the store now include Sweet Paul, which covers confections and crafts; Put an Egg on It, a green paper zine from Brooklyn; and the complete collection of Remedy, a quarterly that's also from Brooklyn.

Let's hope the fact that this section even exists might spark some creativity in the minds of those who check it out. How cool a local food zine revolution could be.
