A New Place For Your Friday Night Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Date
Well, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is at it again, taking over San Francisco one chocolate shop at a time. As of October 17th, the corner of Market and New Montgomery Street is now home to a new Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop. The shop offers an old-fashioned ice cream parlor experience complete with hot fudge sundaes, shakes, floats, and chocolate croissants and chocolate oatmeal in the morning.

Enjoy specialty sweet treats such as The Golden Gate (banana split trio of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream topped with crushed pineapple, sliced strawberries, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chopped almonds and a cherry) or The Cable Car (rocky road sundae smothered with creamy marshmallow topping and homemade hot fudge surrounded by whipped cream, almonds, a cherry, and a Ghirardelli Squares Milk Chocolate) on barstool seating while viewing a 7x100 mural of San Francisco. Other ice cream sundaes include The Nob Hill Chill, The Haight Ashberry, The Presidio Passion, The Sunset, and the Treasure Island. Now those sound like some sweet ways to celebrate our beloved city.
