Gather ye bacon while ye may.
BREAKING NEWS EVERYONE. On the heels of our earlier video featuring Parks & Rec's Nick Offerman performing slam poetry about bacon, we have a devastating announcement: An industry group is claiming that a worldwide bacon shortage next year is "now unavoidable," reports the LA Times.

As tempting as it is to blame the Internet and all those damn bacon-flavored products, it seems that the weather is the cause of this one -- drought conditions over the summer affected the corn and soybean crops, which led to less pork feed, which led to declining livestock herds, which will lead to a bacon and pork shortage, according to Britain's National Pig Association.

To quote our hero Ron Swanson once again... "I hate everything."
