Cocktail Week Events for Thursday, Sept. 20
After last night's six-pack of events, tonight's focus shifts across the bridge to Oakland, where ten of the East Bay's finest come together for the main event, while Millennium restaurant carries the cocktail torch in a five-course paired cocktail dinner.

Totally Awesome East Bay Party to the Max!
Where: The New Parish, 579 18th St. (at San Pablo) Oakland
When: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Cost: $45 in advance, $55 at the door
The rundown: Point your Clipper cards eastward (yes, hard to believe, but there are BART stations east of Embarcadero. Weird.), and enjoy ten cocktails mixed by East Bay all-stars in this 80's themed party. All your favorites from including Jon Santer from Prizefighter, Jessica Maria and Keli Rivers from Hotsy Totsy, Stella Davies from Bocanova, Jennifer Seidman from Acme Bar, but also folks from Boot and Shoe, Café Rouge, Flora, New Easy, and Sidebar. Brat Pack era "classics" like Slow Comfortable Screws, Fuzzy Navels, and Slippery Nipples get an update that's more than simply better Ice, Ice, Baby.
