Speakeasy Brewing Celebrates 15 Years
Speakeasy Brewing has always drawn its inspiration from the Prohibition era, when gangsters and bootleggers laid low in their favorite blind pig establishment with a pint of contraband. At this weekend's 15th Anniversary party, however, you don't have to be Al Capone or Lucky Luciano to get through the door. In fact, you can simply reserve a free ticket from Eventbrite.

For $3 a pop, you can try special Speakeasy brews including a 15th Anniversary Triple IPA, a wet-hopped version of Big Daddy IPA, Scarlett Red Rye, and Butchertown Black. They'll also have live music blaring through the brewery and an arsenal of food trucks including Southern Sandwich, All Good Pizza, La Laguna Taqueria, Ritual Roasters, Kasa Indian Eatery and more. The brewery also promises "rad surprises," which could mean anything from a magician to a bookmobile. But, we're thinking it probably involves beer.
If you'd like to celebrate in style, a $25 VIP ticket gets you in an hour early, 3 beer tokens, a commemorative pint glass and poster, and 15% off merchandise for the day. Check out the details below. Rum runners, be sure to leave your tommy guns at home.
