Wu-Tang Clan-Inspired C.R.E.A.M. Has 'Secret' Menu Items
Named after the debut single from the New York rap group Wu-Tang Clan, Berkeley's C.R.E.A.M. (Cookies Rule Everything Around Me) slangs cookies and ice cream sandwiches instead of beats and rhymes. C.R.E.A.M. lets patrons customize their orders so that one may select two different cookies for their ice cream sandwich, which makes for many possibilities. And now the shop reveals via its Facebook page that there are several "secret" menu items available.

The showpiece of this menu is an ice cream taco, which is available in a dainty three half scoops plus one topping ($3.50) or a heartier three full scoops and one topping ($6.50). There are also mini ice cream sandwiches ($1.50), stacked ice cream sandwiches (priced according to how many layers one attempts), ice cream cone sandwiches ($3), ice cream freezes made with soda instead of milk ($6), multi-flavor milkshakes ($4.95), cookie shakes ($5.50), and special cookies including Rocky Road and turtles with pecans instead of peanuts (.65). For five bucks, cookies and sandwiches can be customized; picture, "Hi Mom" or something similar drizzled in melted cocoa on a chocolate chip cookie.
