Tonight's Truck Stop Cafe Offers a Slutty Special
Truck Stop Cafe, the monthly pop-up restaurant at Truck from Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream owner Jake Godby, offers a secret add-on for tonight's "Post Pride Sober Up/Retox." If you order one of the signature snacks, the made-to-order duck fat Chex mix, and say, "I want it slutty," it'll be topped with cheddar Goldfish crackers.

Tonight's menu ($4-14) features a number of new items, including potato skins with goat cheese, broccoli, and charred scallion sour cream; fried chicken with cornmeal pancakes and maple butter; and summer succotash with gingersnaps. Lentil soup served with brioche and foie gras will provide one of the last legal bites of the soon-to-be-banned liver. Godby typically suggests bringing Tums and placing an advance call to your cardiologist for future artery scrubbing.
