Back in the Dogpatch: Seoul Patch Pop Up at Serpentine

When: Sunday, June 24 from 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM (or until all the food is gone!)

Where: Serpentine, 2495 3rd Street. Seoul Patch heads back to where it started to show how far it has come.

Cost: No entry fee, entrees from $9 - $16

The Rundown: Since its first pop up about eight months ago, Seoul Patch is ready to take its Korean inspired American Cuisine to the next level. After making a name for themselves with Korean street food, (we love the fried chicken sando), founder and head chef Eric Ehler is eager to debut a more involved and focused dinner menu. With all new menu items and an emphasis on simple, summer ingredients, Seoul Patch will serve its first dinner with more of a restaurant-like feel.

Ehler is most excited about a barbecue pork shoulder for three ($35). Korean food is meant to be eaten family style. The pork shoulder will be served with lots of kimchis, nori, herbs and rice to make it more of a do-it-yourself, interactive experience. Sounds like the perfect Sunday supper (or post-pride parade feast) to me. Though they can't seat parties greater than six, Seoul Patch wants you to "come in groups, order a whole bunch of plates, get boozey, and have an amazing time." We've heard the beermosas will flow like the river Han and bibimbap has made it on the menu. See you there.
