Signs and menus at Patxi's Pizza have a helpful pronunciation guide, "say pah-cheese," but all locations of the Bay Area parlor will participate in a statewide Vegan Pizza Day on June 30.

To mark the dairy-free occasion, Patxi's offers a buy one 14-inch vegan pizza, get one 14-inch extra thin vegan pizza for free deal, which amounts to two pizzas for $23.67 plus tax. The pies are made with a whole wheat crust and topped with spinach, crushed garlic, red onions, and Daiya (the cheese substitute of choice for vegans).
Fun fact: Turns out that all sauces and crusts at Patxi's are vegan anyway.
