Tamale Lady. Her godly tamales have never touched Arellano's lips. Fortunately, there's a chance to give Arellano a bite of San Francisco history.
Arellano is coming to SF this Friday to read from his new book, Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America, which presents the first complete history of Mexican food in the US. Let's campaign for the Tamale Lady visit Brava Theater on Friday night so that Arellano's deep love of Mexican food is rewarded-- San Francisco style.
