The Rundown: Quickly rising baking connoisseur Belinda Leong teams with the jam/pickle experts at Happy Girl Kitchen for a drool-worthy pastry pop up. Leong's French-influenced pastries will be reconnoitered with Happy Girl Kitchen's jams and marmalades their primary ingredients. The fantastic kouign-aman so beloved by San Franciscans will be injected with a gooey burst of Happy Girl's mouth-watering Raspberry Jam.
Those macaroons b. patisserie has slowly been making a name for themselves on, well this weekend they'll be layered with white chocolate and a Happy Girl Kitchen's Grapefruit Marmalade. And this is just the tip of the baked goods iceberg floating its way towards your stomach if you choose to drop on by the Ferry Terminal this weekend. Get there early -- it doesn't seem likely supplies will last.
