The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

Criolla Kitchen's weekend shutter is permanent. Eater SF shares chef Randy Lewis attributes the closure to the vague reason of "an unfortunate thing occurred." We're sure there will be more details as the week progresses.

Because any restaurant near Dolores Park is prone to garner a line, due to Cerveceria de MateVeza small size (20 seats), the wait will likely appear as the doors open. Inside Scoop discovers the brewpub is planning to open next week, but keep an eye on it, because the taps may start flowing as early as this weekend.

No bread pudding brick-and-mortar yet: Grub Street notes Schulzies Bread Pudding is dealing with delays due to the historic status of their building. Our spoons remain at the ready for whenever it opens.

Oh, and lastly, you can now get tire fire and cat pee coffee at Pier One (at Embarcadero) -- Inside Scoop discovers Starbucks is now open.
