SF Weekly's 2012 DRINK Pits Bartender Against Bartender, So Everyone Wins

This year, a crew of local bartenders will be battling against one another by mixing a cocktail highlighting a secret ingredient -- which will be named, Iron Chef style, at the beginning of the night. You'll have a chance to taste each of their drinks throughout the course of the afternoon. Or you can roam the room, sampling beverages from producers such as Trumer Pils, Pura Vida Tequila, Tin Barn Vineyard, and St. George Spirits.
Near the end of the event, the bartenders' drinks will be judged by three members of the San Francisco chapter of the U.S. Bartenders' Guild: Kevin Dietrich, Summer-Jane Bell, and SFoodie cocktail columnist Lou Bustamante. A portion of the proceeds will go to the guild.
