The rundown: The Center for Urban Education About Sustainable Agriculture and the Northern California Chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild are kicking off the 2012 Cocktails of the Farmers Market series with a salute to the ladies. The first event is "Lady Leap Year," and it promises to be extra boozy and filled with ladies. What more could anyone wish for?
The all-female lineup of star bartenders includes Melissa Boyd from Beretta, Jen Ackerill from Rye, and Allison Webber from Jasper's Corner Tap, among many other talented mixologists. For $40, they'll serve you two full-sized signature cocktails,10 sample-sized drinks, and snickety snacks featuring produce fresh from the farmers market. What could be better? Nothing, that's what.
