Get Deliciously Creative at the Chocolate Casting and Mold-Making Workshop
| choco dino credit |
Where: Million Fishes Galleries
When: Mon, Tues., Weds., February 6-8, 6-9 p.m.
Cost: $140/person for three days, which includes all materials
The rundown: A three-day hands-on workshop that'll teach you how to make molds for candy. The coolest part is you can make whatever you want. Want a giant chocolate python? Sure! How about a realistic bust of Sigmund Freud? Why not! Hell, you could even mold YOURSELF. Actually, we're not too sure about that, but probably? Doesn't hurt to ask!
According to the fine folks at Million Fishes Galleries, you'll "create replicas of countless forms and shapes in candy sculptures, edible cake decorations, chocolate, hard candy, butter, ice cream, fudge fondant, ice, gelatin, marzipan, poured sugar, pate and more! Molds will be sufficient for casting using a wide range of materials including but not limited to: edibles, soap, wax and resins." Dope, you can make chocolate ANYTHING. If you need something super sexy, we're available for sittings, and are happily paid in chocolate.
