Act Quick: Tables for Two Still Available on Valentine's Day
Reservations book up quickly for this Hallmark holiday. Even on a Tuesday night, couples will fill every table for two in San Francisco with their gooey cravings for public displays of affection. ![]()

Although the holiday is still three weeks away, most restaurants offering specials are already booked. Even your favorite last-minute place on the corner might turn you away.
We searched through Open Table to see who might still have room for you on Valentine's Day between 6 and 9 p.m. Here's some of what we found. (For more, check the site!)
Downtown and The Embarcadero
Ana Mandara, 981 Beach: This restaurant's "exotic" dining room and live jazz will keep you warm until things get hot later. Prix fixe dinners for $80 per guest.
Aurea, 905 California: A three-course special menu for $70 per guest.
Belden Taverna, 52 Belden Place: Offering a four-course special menu outside under heated lamp, $85 per guest.
Bubble Lounge, 714 Montgomery: Champange, roses, candlelight and French love songs performed live at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., oh la la!
Butterfly, Pier 33: A special prix fixe menu will give you wings for $80 per guest.
Cafe Bastille, 22 Belden: Special prices offered for one, two and three-course menus, roses included.
Tenderloin
Saha 1075 Sutter: A seven-course meal of small plates that's vegan-friendly.

Mission, Bernal Heights, Portero
Andalu, 3198 16th St.: Four-course prix fixe meal with wine pairing available, $80 per guest.
Bisou, 2367 Market: For three nights Bisou is offering a four-course menu for $60 per guest and complimentary Champagne.
Rocketfish, 1469 18th St.: Serving a whopping five-course meal for $49 per guest. They even dare you to bring your kids!
Skool, 1725 Alameda: Chef Moto offers a gift from the gods: an Aphrodisiac Menu for $60 per guest.
SOMA
Trace, 818 Third St.: A sparkling wine flight will accompany four courses.
Those are the not-so-slim pickings for the specials. Here's a list of restaurants that may not be offering deals, but they are available for reservations and totally worth booking for a Valentine's date.
Bissap and Little Baobab, 3388 19th St.: Festive and fun, great for new couples to awkwardly celebrate their puppy love.
Another Monkey, 280 Valencia: Modern Thai food in a dimly lit setting says, "I love you, but I'm not spending more than $60 on our meal."
Blowfish, Sushi to Die For, 2170 Bryant: Order the "Greedy Girl" to spoil your lonely self and a friend.
The Front Porch, 65A 29th St.: Feed your special someone a strip of perfectly fried chicken from a popcorn bucket.
