This Saturday: Slow Food Crab Feed

When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 6 p.m.
Cost: $60 Slow Food members, $65 general admission
The rundown: Roll in the start of Dungeness Crabs eating season with the folks at Slow Food San Francisco. The feed will be cooked by California Culinary College student chefs, and dinner includes wine and beer. Added bonus: Desserts from Bi-Rite Market and Tartine Bakery. Patty Unterman, food critic for the San Francisco Examiner, will speak about crabs. The dinner will include products from local artisan food producers like Anchor Brewing Co., 21st Amendment, Beach Chalet, Magnolia Gastropub, Social Kitchen, Speakeasy and ThirstyBear Brewing Company, San Francisco Baking Institute, California Culinary Academy, The Organic Girl, Acme Bread, and more.
