The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

A wife's dream to open a restaurant and a husband's love for pizza will meld together in Mozzeria, the Neapolitan-style pizzeria slated to open in the Mission. And as the new restauranteurs prepare to open their doors, Bay Area Bites reveals that the opening will mark another first too. Owners Melody and Russ Stein are deaf, and their restaurant will be the first operated by deaf owners in S.F. The opening date has yet to be announced.

After electrical delays, Tacolicious II and the adjacent tequila bar Mosto opened today (741 Valencia at 19th St.). Eater SF and Grub Street share a few snapshots of the Mission location interiors, which features lots of natural wood, and warm colors. The taco menu will remain relatively the same to its Marina location.

In the foggy reaches of the City, Richmond Blog dishes a few details on the two-month-old Amphawa Thai Noodle House (5020 Geary at 14th Ave.). Named after a floating market in Thailand the restaurant features an expansive menu from chef and owner Kob Varaphol.

Pending openers: Dancing Pig is shimmying its way up to its opening date in the Castro. Grub Street discovers the barbeque joint will open in the current Nirvana spot by January. While Bernalwood spies Precita Park Cafe is nearing as well. The cafe's logo is freshly painted, and the doors should be open in about a week.

O3 Bistro & Lounge will bring Asian-Californian fusion to Van Ness in the new year. Inside Scoop reports the restaurant from proprietor Roy Chou, will have chef Joseph Villanueva (formerly of Le Colonial) at the helm of the kitchen. And yes, the O3 name is the chemical formula for ozone (which is one of the partners' other restaurants: Ozone Thai.)
