Coming Soon: Hil's Cooking Mobile Sandwich Trailer

Hilary Jacobs has long been acing the art of sandwich-making as the proprietor of the Hil's Cooking gourmet sandwich booth you might have been lucky enough to visit on an Oakland First Friday. Now, she's taking her catering business on the road.
A recently purchased Airstream trailer is soon to be the home of the Bay Area's newest food truck. The mobile menu will feature specialty sandwiches with a focus on comfort food and unique flavor combinations.
The Airstream has been gutted and plans for the kitchen layout and remodel are in the works. She should be up and running in early 2011. In the meantime, you can try her innovative sandwiches at First Fridays in Oakland, across from Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe on Telegraph.
