The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

Turns out Umami Burger's only soft opening tomorrow. It will unveil its full-fledged burger glory soon enough (2184 Union at Fillmore). But we've scanned the menu they've unveiled for S.F., and in addition to some local brews (Anchor Steam, Lagunitas, Bear Republic, and Speakeasy), we've also got a just-for-us patty creation to look forward to: the bacon-wrapped scallop burger ($15).

There's yet another bubble tea shop celebrating its grand opening. The Feast shares TeaWay, a boba tea chain, is opening its third location within a two-block radius in the Sunset. This third location is five times larger than the other two (combined!), so maybe they'll finally be able to quell the lines (2250 Irving at 24th Ave.).

Earlier we mentioned two coffee shops coming soon to the same Financial District block, and now one of them is readying to open. Eater SF shares the second Coffee Bar will start fueling the caffeine buzz on Monday (101 Montgomery at Bush).

Also coming to the Financial District is Darn Good Food. Grub Street shares the café will move into the old Lee's Deli spot (322 Kearny at Bush).

Name change: The Brunch Box is apparently a popular name; so much so that Eater SF reports a legal dispute over the name has led the breakfast food truck owners to change its moniker to Bandit.
