The rundown: The top 10 voted* Bay Area food trucks will have a celebration at Fort Mason Center on Saturday. Even though it's called the Eaters Choice Awards, this has nothing to do with the Eater websites, as far as we can tell, but rather, is something from a credit card company to make you feel like they're giving you a reward when really, it's your fees paying for the whole damn event. As they glowingly advertise, it's free to attend, but FINE PRINT: you have to pay for food. So uh, it's free to walk into Fort Mason and be inundated with credit card ads and then pay for food truck food, which you can get on every corner of every city on every day? Thanks, Chase! You really know what the people want! And then give them this!
