Two floors, 35 restaurants, wine and cocktails: On Sunday, Oct. 2, SF Weekly and SFoodie are throwing DISH, our annual pageant celebrating San Francisco's food scene.

This year, we're changing things up: For the first time, many of the participating restaurants will be selected by SF Weekly restaurant critic Jonathan Kauffman. While the lineup has yet to be fully announced, the participating restaurants include Anchor & Hope, Local Mission Eatery/Knead Patisserie, Chabaa Thai and Good Foods Catering.

In addition, DISH this year will be held in the galleria of the SF Design Center at the base of Potrero Hill, and part of the proceeds will benefit La Cocina, San Francisco's innovative incubator program for food entrepreneurs.

General admission tickets, now on sale through EventBrite, cost $40, while VIP tickets granting you special access to special food, drinks, and take-home treats, cost $75.

For more details about location, tickets, and La Cocina, visit the DISH website. In the days to come, SFoodie will let you know more about participating restaurants, featured dishes, and more!
