Off the Grid Hits St. Mary's Square
Folks in the Financial District will get new lunch options next week when four food trucks from Off the Grid's rotation pull up into the St. Mary's Square Garage at 433 Kearny (at California).

The soft launch is Monday, July 25, though what the difference between that and the official opening on Aug. 1 is, we can't say. Trucks expected to be in the rotation include Hapa SF, 3-Sum Eats, the Rib Whip, Senor Sisig, Toasty Melts, and Fins on the Hoof.
The trucks are supposed to be dealing out street eats from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Monday. We like the idea of taking some of Hapa SF's squid tacos to dine in the park on all those sunny August days, and then going back to high-paying Financial District jobs and controlling the economy west of the Mississippi. Food is culture: Eating closer to the street has to be a good thing, right?
