The rundown: If you're like us, and you spend way too much time immersed in the minutiae of San Francisco's chef elite, you know that Humphry Slocombe flavormaster Jake Godby spent time cooking savory before he went sweet at restaurants including Boulevard, Zuni, Fifth Floor, and Coi.
Wednesday night, you have a rare chance to sample his regular food as Baker and Banker kicks off its series of guest chef dinners (stay tuned for upcoming evenings with Thomas McNaughton of Flour and Water and Ryan Farr from 4505 Meats).
