The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

Are kitchen turnovers trending? Inside Scoop reports Douglas Marschke and Nick Fasanella's two-week-old Tacko is already closed -- temporarily -- until next week, because of the firing, rehiring, and training of the kitchen staff. Look for the return of the line out the door on June 13.

Also in the Fillmore, Inside Scoop shares, via Grub Street's first reports, that Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski, the husband-wife chef team formerly of Rubicon, will open State Bird Provisions. The restaurant will encompass a range of small bites on an approximately 40-item menu, and service will operate in a similar manner to dim sum and tapas. Look for a late fall opening.

Not over yet. When Al's Cafe Good Food closed after 50 years, we thought it was a total goner. Now Bernalwood gives word that the reopening rumor is true. Under new ownership, with a new moniker, and similar menu, Al's Super Cafe will open on Friday.

Also from Eater SF, via Bluoz and Twitter, it turns out Passion Cafe is going to stay put. After the early May attack that left owner Steve Barton bloodied, a for rent sign appeared. We're glad to hear they're sticking around and reinstating the weekday happy hour.

More crepe news: With Union Street's Crepes A Go-Go officially gone gone, Eater SF shares the new restaurant taking its spot will be nothing other than a ... crepe shop. La Belle Crepe is aiming to open this summer after extensive kitchen renovations.

From Grub Street, another similar restaurant shuffle. Etcetera, a wine bar, will move into the former Parea Wine Bar space. No word yet on an opening date.

And from the Richmond District Blog, more news on Louis' comeback. The dark '70s interior has been ripped out, replaced by sustainable designs, and the revamped menu will feature local and organic ingredients. The view remains spectacular.
