The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

Food truck news: Eater SF reports Kati Roller is set to, well, roll. This July, the truck from Kasa Indian Eatery will debut at Off the Grid, serving the usual favorites and street food additions. And if all goes to plan at tomorrow's public hearing at the Department of Public Works, the truck will start showing up in the Financial District as well.

While Haighteration gives an update on Doc's of the Bay, which had planned on parking on the 600 block of Divisadero. There was some neighborhood opposition, and Doc's also had to have a hearing with Public Works. Owner Zak Silverman said there will be a decision by July 8, but he's "not holding his breath" over parking on the proposed block.

Chef changes and popups: The town of Sausalito has seen a revolving door of chefs this year. Now Inside Scoop reports Justin Everett has fully taken over the Murray Circle kitchen from predecessor Joseph Humphrey. While Scoop also shares husband and wife chef duo Sarah and Evan Rich, he formerly the chef de cuisine of Coi, will be hosting a dinner at SOMA's Radius on July 11.

Trader Joe's has announced it's moving to Nob Hill in 2012. In a statement, it announced it will move into the condo building with retail space slated for the corner of Hyde and California. Yes, this is where Cala Foods sits until its lease expires at the end of the year. The one drawback? Cala is open 24 hours, allowing us to snack on a whim. But, then again, we do love TJ's trail mixes.

We missed an opener in the outer reaches of the Richmond: Magdy's Cafe opened earlier this month. The Richmond District Blog gives the scoop that this eatery offers a small selection of soups, sandwiches, and bagels, and a few outdoor seats -- for those days when the fog burns off.
