Eat Tons, Help Kids: Asian Latin Fusion Fest

Hybrid Fusion

Where: Intersection 5M, 925 Mission Street (at 5th St), 626-2787

When: Sat., June 11, 6-9 p.m.

Cost: $50

The rundown: Intersection 5M's new art exhibition Chico & Chang explores the intersection between (what else?) Asian and Latin culture. This Saturday the art will gain a culinary supplement at an event called Hybrid Fusion. Featured restaurants skew towards the Asian side of things, with Roys Hawaiian Fusion, and Seoul on Wheels making appearances, but we're hoping there will be some Latin accents thrown in to mix it up. There will also be over 50 wines being poured (don't try all of them!), as well as the chance to meet the artists behind Chico & Chang. Proceeds go to benefit Intersection's youth initiatives, helping to promote and assist young urban artists.

Buy tickets at Eventbrite.
