Shady Ladies and End of Days: Tuesday Is for Tipplers

Between the cold, soggy spring weather and this weekend's Rapture (aka End of Days), a few drinks on a Tuesday night should be all the comfort you really need. Warm up your insides at either of these events, while making your last few days on Earth count. Anyway, use the excuse to.

Sacramento's Shady Lady Saloon at Mr. Lew's Win Win

Where: Mister Lew's Win Win Bar and Grand Sazerac Emporium, 441 Jones (at Ellis), 474-2284
When: When: Tue., May 17, and Wed, May 18, 7 p.m.-2 a.m.
Cost: No-host bar
The rundown: Sacramento may not always get attention for its fine cocktail craftsmanship, but a whole host of S.F.'s best cut their teeth in the state capital ― Erick Castro, Jayson Wilde, and Kyle and Rachel Ford are just a few of the folks who transitioned over. The Shady Lady is one of NorCal's finest, so expect great drinks and creativity. Don't be surprised if the guest bartenders start making more regular appearances.
