The rundown: Attorney turned artist Alyson Thomas has a food thing. If her custom work for breweries, pizzerias, and Williams-Sonoma doesn't reveal a certain bent, her brand-new meat exhibit should seal the deal. "Meat Market" is Thomas' first solo show, and Friday night's opening at Pot + Pantry promises lots of weird carne fun. For snacks, the artist will bring some homemade bacon caramel corn and Pot + Pantry will supply always-appropriate 4505 chicharrones. TomKat will also hold court outside and Nosh This will debut a new bacon candy. And to ensure you know that this is a different kind of opening, don't expect any Chardonnay; beer is the only beverage promised.
