Tonight: Free Dengue Fever Concert and Vietnamese Popup

Dengue Fever/Rice Paper Scissors
Where: Amoeba Records, 1855 Haight (at Stanyan), 831-1200
When: Tues., April 26, 6-9 p.m.
Cost: Free concert; food items priced individually

The rundown: Hey, cheapskates: Queue up tonight for a low-cost music and food pairing that's sure to be a win. From 6 to 7, Cambodian-psych-pop favorites Dengue Fever are giving a free in-store concert at Amoeba Music. Following the sure-to-be-raucous dance party, the folks behind Rice Paper Scissors (aka New York Times' new crush) will set up their trademark red stools outside the store and serve up some Vietnamese street food. Insert tired street fight joke here.
