Wrapped with OtG's logo, the truck is available for chefs and others who want to roll out a temporary rolling eatery.
You know that truck pod Off the Grid pops up at regular weekly sites around the city. Now, organizer Matt Cohen tells SFoodie, Off the Grid is rolling out a sort of pop-up within a pop-up, in the form of a dedicated truck for chefs or other aspiring street-food entrepreneurs to start a temporary eatery. "It's available for anybody demo-ing an idea," Cohen says, "maybe chefs who are thinking about opening a restaurant, or who are interested in trying out some street-food ideas." The truck has an Off the Grid wrap, an on-board sound system, and a couple of flat-panel TVs. Inside, it's pimped out with a pot burner, a fryer, griddle, steam table, refrigeration, and cold prep. Josh? Charles? Dom? Cohen says you can contact him at rental@offthegridsf.com.
