Drink to the Giants' Return with These Opening Day Brews
Peanuts and Cracker Jacks are just swell, but if you're like SFoodie, you'd rather celebrate your Giants pride with a festive beverage. As of today, the torture is over! In honor of our reigning champs' home opener, Public House is loading its taps with tribute beers: 
Moylan's Giants tribute beer, a black ale flavored with orange zest.
• Iron Springs Brewery's Me And My Old Man is on deck for this weekend's opening festivities. Created in honor of the brewer's fond memories of opening day with his father, the beer is a traditional California Common (often used synonymously with San Francisco's heritage "steam"-style beer).
• Moylan's Brewery is contributing its Orange and Black Congrats Ale! Think of this black ale brewed with orange zest as the liquid version of a chocolate-covered candied orange peel....
• In addition to these Giant brews, Public House is tapping special kegs of an oak-aged IPA from Stone Brewing, and Speakeasy's Payback Porter, with additions of cocoa and vanilla bean.
For those not lucky enough to spend a sunny day at the ballpark, bottles of Moylans' Orange and Black will be available today at City Beer Store in SOMA alongside a draft interpretation on the orange and black theme from sister operation Marin Brewing. And be sure to grab one of City Beer's new Torture T-shirts in support of local sports and brew. Fear the beard, not the beer!
