Jun-Blog, Eat the Love Finalists in Saveur's Best Food Blog Awards

​First time we clicked a link and scrolled through a Jun Belen post ― a recollection of lechon in Manila ― we were smitten. S.F. blogger (and occasional SFoodie contributor) Belen has fierce photo skills and an eye for taking Filipino cooking out of the world of titas and vinyl tablecloths and into the realm of the modern foodie. Turns out Saveur was impressed, too. Today, Jun-Blog showed up as a finalist for its 2011 Best Food Blog Awards, for Best Regional Cuisine. Another favorite San Franciscan on the list: Irvin Lin's Eat the Love, a finalist in the Best Baking and Desserts category. Lin's also had a SFoodie byline. Congratulations, gentlemen.
